Connect chromecast with Aruba AP

 

Chromecast Error:

Turn off AP isolation

If AP isolation is enabled on your Wi-Fi router, you will need to disable it.

Solution:

  • Factory reset the chromecast
  •  In the Aruba GUI, go to More->Services
  •  Under the AirGroup tab, check the Enable DLNA box
  •  Under AirGroup Settings, enable the followings: 
  1. googlecast
  2. DIAL
  3. DLNA Media

  • Save the setting
  • Setup the chromecast again from the scratch. It will fix the Aruba chromecast issue and AP isolation error
